Bryan “Boo” Hollandsworth Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Rose Hill, VA- Bryan “Boo” Hollandsworth, 54 of Rose Hill, entered into his Heavenly rest on May 28th, 2022 at Fort Sanders Medical Center in Knoxville, Tn. Boo was born on November 12, 1967, the son of; Jack Hollandsworth Sr. and Phyllis Ann "Spade" Hollandsworth. He was the youngest of four children. Boo was a special person, anyone who knew him would tell you he was different. His qualities and characteristics were very inspiring and impactful to all those who came to know Boo. He was a talented man, who saw value in everything. He enjoyed finding projects of all kinds and restoring them. His Camaro, and Motorcycle were near and dear to his heart. His mechanical abilities allowed him to fix and improve all that he touched. However, Boo’s abilities with mechanics were just a small part of his personality. He also excelled at relationships with people. He took great pride in being someone that poured into others more than himself. He was the type of man that was a dedicated father, husband, brother, and neighbor. He used his life and character to influence many youths , that will forever be impacted by the “Life Lessons” given to them by Boo. Boo had a very kind spirit and was always willing to help anyone in need. Boo's humor was contagious, he was always the light of the gathering. He met and courted the love of his life Jacque when they were young teenagers, they were married for almost 23 years. His life and Legacy will leave a lasting impact for generations to come. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Spade Hollandsworth, his sister, Robin West, maternal grandparents, Hazel and Ray Spade, paternal grandparents, Ruth and Dale Hollandsworth, & niece Shayera Hollandsworth. He is survived by his wife, Jacque Hollandsworth of the home, his children, Emily Paige Hollandsworth (Justin) son, Adam Keith Hollandsworth, his father, Jack D. Hollandsworth Sr., of Ewing, VA., brother, Jack Hollandsworth Jr. (Regina) of W.V. ,sister, Sheila Mitchell (Jimmy) of Ewing, VA., in- laws Coy and June Chadwell, nephews, Joseph West (Priscilla), Braxton Hollandsworth,, niece, Whitley Yeary (Adam) , Bristol Hollandsworth, great- nieces, Paris, & Carlyn, great- nephew, Tennessee, several special friends that he looked at as brothers and other close family. The family of Boo Hollandsworth will receive friends on Tuesday, May 31, 2022, at the Praise and Worship Center in Rose Hill, VA., from 5-8 p.m. for the visitation. The funeral service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. with pastor Kevin Jerrell officiating. Special music will be provided by Diane. The graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, in Ramsey Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. those wishing to attend are asked to meet at Holding Funeral Home of Rose Hill, at 12:30 to travel in procession to the cemetery. The family is requesting anyone that has a motorcycle please ride it for the graveside service to honor Boo’s passion for motorcycles.
