Charlie W. Sinyard Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Elberta, AL. Charlie W. Sinyard 71, passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at South Baldwin Hospital. Charlie was born in Cullman, Alabama, the son of the late; Cleston Samuel Sinyard, & Valerie "Cue" Sinyard. He graduated from Foley High School class of 1968. After graduation, he served our country honorably in the United States Army, doing one tour of active duty in Vietnam. Upon his return to Baldwin County he began his lifelong career at Riviera Utilities. He worked at Riviera for 42 years until his retirement. He was married to the love of his life Penny, for 52 years. He was a Fine, husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be sorely missed, by all those who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Chucky Sinyard, his brother, Avron Sinyard, & his brother-in-law, Nicky Leiterman. He is survived by his wife, Penny Sinyard of the home, his children; Charlotte Sinyard, & Wesley Sinyard, his grandchildren; Mason Holloway & wife Haley, and Reese Jaye, great- grandchildren; Neveah, Madalynn, and "Little" Charlie Holloway, his sisters; Kathy Leiterman, Dorothy Riebe & husband Paul, sister- in-law LueAnn Sinyard, several nieces nephews close relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, Oct. 4 2021, from 12 -2 for the visitation, at Pine Rest Funeral Home, the service will be conducted at 2 with Kenny Osborne officiating. Military honors will be administered at Miflin Lay Cemetery following. Pallbearers will be; Nolan Sinyard, Jason Alms, Dylan Ewing, Brent Pierce, Ryan Moreno, Bobby Deisner, Richard Pickens, & Jeff Jensen.
