Rose Hill, VA Diana "Michelle" Long, age 48, passed away on March 6, 2022, at Holston Valley Medical Center in Kingsport, Tennessee following a brief illness. Michelle was born September 25, 1973, at Lonesome Pine Hospital in Big Stone Gap, Virginia, and lived all her life in Lee County, Virginia. Michelle is survived by her parents: Harmon Long, Rose Hill, VA; Diane Long, Jonesville, VA; her three sons: Cody Cain, Jonesville, VA; Joshua Cain, Speedway, TN; and Kaden Healy, Rose Hill, VA; her two sisters: Crystal Long and Carmen Long, both of Jonesville, VA; and one brother: Brian Clark and wife Melissa, Big Stone Gap, VA; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Holding Funeral Home of Rose Hill. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM with Rev. Richard Long officiating at the Long Family Cemetery in Rose Hill, Virginia. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
