Jasper VA Ike Edward Jessie Bowen, 27, passed away on Sunday( September 2, 2012). Ike was a loving brother, son, uncle, and friend. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his parents, Glen and Freda Bowen, his six brothers; Jack B. , Brad wife Fran, Glen Jr. wife Jaime, Chad wife Jaquetta, Billy wife Christina, Victor wife Tabitha, five sisters; Angela husband Joe, Glenda husband Troy, Clarice husband Jon, Victoria husband Darrell, and several other very close relatives and friends all of Wise County. The family will receive friends on Wednesday (Sept.5, 2012) from 4 until 6 at Holding Funeral Home of Big Stone Gap (17 East 3rd St. N.) The funeral service will be conducted following the visitation in the funeral home chapel. The graveside service will be held at 9:30 in the Bowen family cemetery in the Jasper community (Thursday Sept. 6,2012) anyone wishing to attend the graveside service is asked to meet at Holding Funeral Home by 8:50 to go in procession.
