Inman, Virginia Lillian Jean Fields Waldron 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday April 2, 2015 at Lee Rehab and Nursing Home in Pennington Gap Virginia. She was born on May 17,1918 in MacDowell, West Virginia. She was the daughter, of the late Silis and Mollie “Beavers” Fields, she was one of eleven children. She went to boarding school in Pine Mountain Kentucky, where she graduated. She moved to Cincinnati early in her life, then to New York, where she flourished in clothing design. Her clothing brand was “Bonnie Jean’s”, she had her clothing line distributed, throughout and had a clothing boutique in New York on 74 Irving street. She met the love of her life, Sheldon Waldron; and married in 1949. They moved to Delaware where she spent the rest of her adult life until 2012 when her sister Evelyn Mckinney brought her home to take care of her in her advanced age. She was preceded in death by her husband; Sheldon Waldron, her parent Silis and Mollie Fields, brothers; Estil Fields, Thomas Fields, sisters; Florence Fields, Edith Leonard, Mary Fields, Flo Doppler, Gladys Swain, Opal Litton, and one niece Dr. Karen Hamilton. She is survived by; Emily Towe of Mosheim Tn., Evelyn and Dan Mckinney of Strawberry Patch, sister in law ;Vera Fields of Kingsport Tn. Nieces and Nephews Jenny and Andy Chapman, Candace and Nathan Flannary, Patricia and Bobby Underwood, Caroline and Brett Douglas, Juliet and Tony Rogers, Cheryl and Mike Bueck, Wayne and Julie Towe, Selina Fields, Tina Fain, Paula Harr, Joan Doppler, Priscilla Hampton, Carolyn Bloomer, Tommy Swain, Jimmy Swain, many other great nieces and nephews and close relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Spencer Owens, Andrew Owens, Andrew Chapman, Bobby Underwood, Tony Rogers, and Nathan Flannary. The family and friends would also like to thank DR. Almatari from Pennington, the Lee Nursing Rehab and staff for all there care. Officiating will be Buddy Wilson. The family will receive friends on Sunday (April 5, 2015) from 1 to 2 p.m. at Holding Funeral Home of Big Stone Gap (17 East. 3rd St. N.) The funeral service will be conducted following the visitation in the funeral home’s chapel with Buddy Wilson officiating. The committal service will be following the funeral service in the McKinney family cemetery in Stawberry Patch. Pallbearers will be; Spencer Owens, Andrew Owens, Andrew Chapman, Bobby Underwood, Tony Rogers, and Nathan Flannary. The family and friends would also like to thank Dr. Almatari from Pennington Gap, the Lee Nursing and Rehab staff for all their care.
