Coeburn, Virginia Margaret Meade 62, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Johnston Memorial Hospital. Born in Clintwood, VA, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Stanley E and Jane (Green) Stanley. Margaret was a member of the Christian Church. She was a homemaker, where she enjoyed caring for her family. She loved her family and grandchildren. She appreciated the outdoors, and taking in all of Gods creation. She graduated from Ervinton class of 1977. She was married to the love of her life for 40 plus years. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Margaret is survived by her husband, J. Brent Meade of Coeburn, VA., Sons; K.J. Meade wife, Rebecca of Big Stone Gap., Shane Meade of the home, Shaun Meade and wife, Alexandra of Meadowview, VA., four grandchildren; Two, Kane, Cheyenne, and Skyler: her sisters; Rilda White of Clintwood, VA., Della Wallace and husband Larry of Haysi, VA., Elizabeth Stanley of Clintwood, VA., Patricia Stanley of Mclure, VA., brother, Kenneth Stanley of Mclure. Several other close relatives and friends. Visitation for Margaret Meade will be Friday, April 16, 2021 from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. at Sandy Ridge Full Gospel Fellowship church (11406 Sandy Ridge Rd. Coeburn, VA 24230) , with funeral service following at 1 p.m. with pastor, Mitch Elliot officiating. Interment will be held follow in the Stanley family cemetery in Coeburn VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Due to covid-19 state regulations, those attending the visitation and funeral are to wear masks/facial covering and social distancing guidelines are also to be in place.
