Big Stone Gap, Virginia Robin Arlene McCorkle 52, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at Holston Valley Medical Center. She was born in Norton, VA., on March 22, 1969 the daughter of Roger Clarence Fultz and Margaret Ann Bolling. She attended High School at J.J. Kelly High School. She loved traveling to the ocean every time she got a chance. She was an avid BINGO player who would travel all over to play. She loved her children, grandchildren and family. She was preceded in death by her father, her brother, Roger Dale Fultz, both her maternal, and paternal grandparents, a niece, Abigail Nicole Fultz, her aunt Janice Chaffin and uncle Charles Bolling. She is survived by her mother, Margaret Ann Fultz, her brother, Timothy Fultz and wife Robin of Norton, VA., her children; Kevin Ray Thompson & Briana Potter of Norton, VA., Teresa Thompson of Big Stone Gap, VA,. Thomas Thompson and Larry Thompson of Norton, VA., grandchildren, Ethan Thompson, Jayden Thompson, Sierra Thompson, Landon Mullins, Madison Rae Elliot, special aunt, Norma Sturgill and husband Sam of Norton, VA., longtime companion, Ernest Miller, sister in law, Mary Fultz of Big Stone Gap, aunt, Donna Gene Bolling, nieces, Brittany Lovell and husband Johnny of Big Stone Gap, Kimberly Roberts and husband Hunter of Norton, VA., Melena Howell and husband Travis of Big Stone Gap, great niece, Aubrey Lovell ,nephew, Andrew Sturgill and wife Barb of Dickinson County, great nephew, Dewey Sturgill, cousins, Ashley Workman and husband Keith of Roanoke, VA., Courtney Miller and husband Donnie of KY., Andy Bolling of Roanoke, VA., Mathew Chaffin and wife Jessi of St. Paul, VA., Melissa Bateman and husband Richard of Norton, VA., Mark Bolling and wife Renee of Big Stone Gap, VA,. family friends, Jeff Birdwell, Eddie Boyles, Ashley McGeorge, Steve Smith Geddings, and Billy Geddings, other close relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, Feb 1, 2022 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Holding Funeral Home in Big Stone Gap. The funeral service will be conducted following in the funeral home's chapel with Rev. Jim Smith Officiating.
