John 14:27 Big Stone Gap, VA Roy Preston Chandler, infant son of Roy and Amanda (Collins) Chandler, was called home to heaven on Friday (July 19, 2013) at Holston Valley Medical Center. He is survived by his parents, Roy and Amanda (Collins) Chandler; his paternal grandparents, Roy and Susan Chandler; maternal grandparents, Tom and Brenda Collins; three uncles, Steven Chandler and wife Crystal, Damian Chandler and Thomas Collins; and two aunts, Alicia Chandler and Alyssa Stallard and husband, Ronnie. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (July 23, 2013) at Holding Funeral Home (17 E. 3rd St., N.) from 10:00 am until 12:00 noon. The funeral service will be conducted following the visitation in the funeral home chapel with the Pastor Barron Duffy officiating. A graveside service will follow at the Gilley Cemetery (Maples Gap Road) in Big Stone Gap.
